Oolong terrorises an entire village before anyone finds the limit of his power: five minutes of transformation, then a mandatory rest. That technical constraint is typical of the universe’s logic, where every ability has an explicit cost.
His role in the Pilaf saga is decisive: it is his opportunism, not the group’s heroism, that determines the wish finally spoken to the dragon.
