The strongest fighter who would rather be studying
Biography
Gohan enters the story at four years old, abducted and locked in a pod, and his first contribution is a burst of rage he cannot control. His whole record sits in that tension: potential greater than his father’s, paired with a sincere lack of interest in fighting.
His education is split between a mother who wants a scholar and a Namekian mentor who leaves him in a desert. The result is the most interesting character of the Z era, because his power depends on an emotional state rather than on regular training.
