Biography

Whis accompanies Beerus, wakes him, feeds him and corrects him. He is explicitly stronger than the god he serves, but his office forbids him from stepping into mortal affairs other than as a teacher.

His main contribution to the story is methodological: he teaches that power without control is waste, and introduces the idea of a fighting state where the body decides on its own.
